Balinese Beauty Booty

I've got Bali on the brain lately and my beauty products seem to be falling in line accordingly. Though I have no trips planned for the immediate future Em and I are tossing about ideas of a Balinese Birthday celebration for the big 3-0. (Still way more than a year away.) In the meantime let's all take a sensory flight from reality and immerse ourselves in the beautiful bounty of Balinese beauty booty.

Mistral Eau de Parfum Balinese Vanilla

Delivered from France in a classic glass atomizer this bewitching and harmonious, Mistral Eau de Parfum captures treasured scents in their purest form. Highly coveted botanicals, exotic woods and spices, rare flowers, and essences of ripe fruits contribute the many notes of their fine fragrances. The Balinese Vanilla perfume is a powerful, alluring fragrance inspired by the serenely scented spice markets of Indonesia. Blended from geranium, amber, exotic woods and irresistible patchouli, this perfume envelops you in an Eau of all that is Eastern. Enjoy!

Bali Breeze Rejuvenating Shower Cream by H2o Plus

H20 Plus’ newest, limited-edition body collection, Bali Breeze includes a four-piece line with a juicy mango and creamy coconut blend combined with marine botanicals for island inspired hydration. This creamy coconut shower gel took me directly back to the days of outdoor showers, and machete carved coconut drinks after long trips aboard the Balinese boats of my youth. (I'm a lucky f!#*er.) Check out the full Bali Breeze collection here. The sugar scrub and moisture gloss are also to die.

Beauty Gone Green: an online store packed with the best green beauty products.

Beauty Gone Green was started by Terri Exum and Sigrid Yorke in July of 2007. Both women are sought after estheticians with a passion for the best beauty products. In addition to their thriving practices as estheticians, each has their own business on the side (Spa Physiog and Skintopia). Realizing that most woman were as busy as they were, leaving little time to research and physically go buy the best beauty products, they started Beauty Gone Green. Because of this ingenious idea the rest of the world can obtain the best of the beauty industry with the ease and comfort of just one click. Eminence Organics, Yonka Paris and Yonka for Men, Clarisonic, American Biotech Labs, Cosmedix (maker of my favorite facial peel), Pacifica, IS clinical, Glominerals and much much more are all available. Click on any of the pictures below to learn more about the product lines. Terri and Sigrid picked each line based on organic ingredients, earth friendly business practices, and of course the best skin care. Beauty Gone Green's products have changed my skin. Three years ago when I met Terri I had acne, rosacea, dryness, and hyper pigmentation. Today people I don't even know ask me how I got such beautiful skin. The answers my friends are all below...click away!

Pacifica Candles: Mmm, mmm, mmm for the smell of it

I like bringing the day spa home. In order to this in most luxurious, simple, speedy way I can think of I light a candle that smells exotic and heavenly and is good for me. Once I found Pacifica candles at Spa Physiog, I have honestly never tried anything else. Their floral, spicy, aromatic scents are created by a woman who travels the world looking for new ways to bring ol' factory pleasure to my apartment. I think for me, this indulgence is also a celebration of being able to smell. December 31 marked 3 years of not smoking and after a very long career of over a pack a day I simply had not smelled in a very, very long time. For Christmas this year I asked for Candles from Pacifica and Santa filled my stocking abundantly. Tuscan Blood Orange, Moroccan Chamomile Apple Blossom, Tahitian Gardenia, Tibetan Mountain Temple, Sandalwood, and Spanish Amber promise to fill my apartment and help me celebrate the use of all my senses the whole year through (let's hope). Ah yes and the candles are made with Natural and Essential oils, cotton wicks and soy wax. So they are actually good for me (and the planet) too.
